Industry Tours is a trade name of Intermountain Digital LLC ("we"). This page says what happens to information about you when you use industrytours.net.

What we collect

Very little: how many visits the site gets and which pages are read, and nothing that identifies you. The site has no accounts, no sign-up forms and no advertising, and it sets no cookies. If you choose light or dark, that choice is saved in your browser and never sent to us.

Your location

"Near me" asks your browser for your location, and only after you allow it. It's used in your browser to sort places by distance and is never sent to us. City and ZIP code search also runs in your browser, against a file that comes with the site.

Visitor counts

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies or other storage in your browser. When a page loads, and again when you leave it, a small script sends Cloudflare the page's address, the page that linked you here, your browser, operating system and device type, and how fast the page loaded and responded, including which part of the page was slowest, and Cloudflare notes which country you're visiting from. Like any request, it carries your IP address. Cloudflare says it doesn't use your IP address or anything else to fingerprint you for these counts, and doesn't track you from site to site. We see totals, not who visited. Cloudflare handles this under its privacy policy.

What other services see

• Hosting. Cloudflare serves the site. Like any web host it processes your IP address and request details to deliver pages and stop abuse, under its privacy policy. We don't use this to identify visitors.
• The map. Map images come from OpenFreeMap. Your browser fetches them from its servers, which see your IP address.
• Links. Official venue pages, Google Maps and Apple Maps directions, and Wikidata are other sites with their own privacy policies, which apply once you follow a link.

If you write to us

If you email hello@industrytours.net, we keep your message and address to fix or add a listing, and to write back if we reply. Messages are handled by us and by the email and software providers we use to run the site. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't sell or share your address.

Children

The site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we add anything else that collects information, such as a suggestion form, this page changes first, with a new date.
