About

The museum fills a historic hangar and the ramp beside it with transport, tanker and cargo aircraft, and it is the only museum devoted to airlift and air refueling. Admission and parking are free, with guides available daily. The C-141B Starlifter and C-130 Hercules are open for self-guided walk-throughs in good weather, and the C-5A Galaxy and KC-10 Extender open when a guide is free. On the third Saturday of each month from April to October more aircraft open for guided tours.

Getting there

1301 Heritage Rd, Dover AFB, DE, 19902

Enter by the museum's own gate off Route 9 (exit 91 on US 113 / DE 1). You cannot reach the museum through the main gate of Dover Air Force Base.

The pin marks the site itself, not necessarily the entrance (39.11869, -75.45664). Apple Maps directions go to the street address instead. Show on our map · Google Maps · Apple Maps
