About

The park is a viewing site near Goodman Park from which visitors see the smelter stack, finished in 1919 and 585 feet tall, a remnant of the Anaconda Copper Company works. Signs at the site explain the stack's history and the smelter's closure in 1980. The stack may be viewed and photographed only from a distance. The page lists the park as open daily in daylight hours, subject to closures.
