      About

Chabot's own pages call it the home of the NASA Ames Visitor Center, an exhibit in Studio 1 with hands-on engineering challenges and objects from NASA Ames Research Center. General admission is open Wednesday to Sunday daytime, and the observatory deck has free telescope viewings on Friday and Saturday evenings when weather allows. Planetarium shows, field trips and evening events are separate programs that are not covered here.
