About
The Ford Rouge Factory Tour is a five-part experience inside Ford's Dearborn Truck Plant, run by The Henry Ford with Ford and the UAW. Visitors see theater presentations and a gallery, then view the final assembly area from a suspended walkway. The plant is a real factory, so vehicles are not always being built; the venue says it cannot guarantee a running line and does not refund for that. The tour is closed Sundays, on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, and on a list of non-production dates. It is also closed November 9-29, 2026 for scheduled maintenance.
