    About

Grand Coulee Dam holds back Lake Roosevelt on the Columbia River in Washington. The visitor center has hands-on exhibits and an auditorium and is open every day. From late May to the end of October, Reclamation guides free tours of the John W. Keys III Pump-Generating Plant on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, first come, first served, with bags left behind and a metal detector at the door. A free laser light show, "One River, Many Voices", runs on summer evenings.

    Owner: Bureau of Reclamation.

    Getting there

    Grand Coulee, WA, 99133

The pump-generating plant tour starts at a separate tour building, about half a mile from the visitor center: from the visitor center parking lot go northwest on WA 155, cross the Grand Coulee Bridge, continue onto Roosevelt Way through the gate, then turn left on Marina Way.
