    About

Kennecott was a copper mine and mill town and is now a National Historic Landmark inside Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. Visitors can look at exhibits in the General Store and the North Sacking Shed, watch a short film about the mill, and ask rangers about trips from the visitor center in the former Blackburn School. The center is staffed from late May to mid-September. A concessioner also runs a guided mill-building tour; ask the park for its times and price.

Run by: National Park Service, Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve.
