About
The Kirby Science Discovery Center fills several floors of the Washington Pavilion with hands-on exhibits on space, water, weather, dinosaurs, farming and health. One exhibit, Quarry Dig, shows working life in a quarry with tunnels, a conveyor belt and mining equipment. Stage science demonstrations and a CineDome and planetarium (separate add-on ticket) are also on site. Admission also covers the Pavilion's visual arts center, which is not covered here.
