About
The park spreads through downtown Lowell, a planned 19th-century textile city built on canals. The Boott Cotton Mills Museum has exhibits on industrialization and labor and a weave room with power looms that are run for visitors at posted demonstration times. A ranger-led Suffolk Mill tour reaches a turbine exhibit that is otherwise closed, and canal boat tours run in summer.
Run by: National Park Service.
