    About

The museum began as the Army Medical Museum during the Civil War and now shows collections on pathology, the human body and American military medicine. It is free and open Wednesday to Sunday. Visitors should use the Linden Lane entrance, because the Brookfield Road gate requires military identification. Its rules and chaperone guidance for children are in downloadable PDFs.

Run by: U.S. Army Medical Department (Defense Health Agency site).

    Getting there

2500 Linden Lane, Silver Spring, MD, 20910

Just outside U.S. Army Garrison-Forest Glen. Use the visitor entrance on Linden Lane; the Brookfield Road entrance needs military ID.

The pin marks the site itself, not necessarily the entrance (39.00964, -77.05256). Apple Maps directions go to the street address instead. Show on our map · Google Maps · Apple Maps
