About
The Petroleum Museum in Midland follows the Permian Basin's story across more than 230 million years, with petroleum exhibits, a mineral gallery, the Chaparral Gallery and an outdoor Oil Patch. Visitors spend about two hours. Groups of ten or more can ask for special tours and rates in advance. Wheelchairs and strollers are lent at no charge.

Exit 136 on the I-20 north service road. The page describes a second entrance off Garfield Street through the STEAM Education Center parking area.
