About
Roper Mountain is a school-district science center that is closed to the public except for set programs. On Thursday and Friday afternoons in the school year, Afternoon Explorations opens the natural science hall, marine lab, living history farm and dinosaur trail. On Friday nights the T.C. Hooper Planetarium runs feature shows, with a laser show on the first Friday of the month. It is closed to the public on weekends and from August 9 to September 16.
