    About

The Sierra Silver Mine Tour takes visitors underground in a working-era silver mine in the Coeur d'Alene Mining District, led by a retired miner who shows how hard-rock mining was done. A classic trolley carries riders between the ticket office in Wallace and the mine, with narration about the town. Tours last about an hour and a quarter and run every 30 minutes in season, from May 1 to October 15.

    Getting there

509 Cedar Street, Wallace, ID, 83873

The map point is the center of Wallace, so it is approximate; use the street address of the ticket office. Tours leave from the ticket office and a trolley takes riders to the mine.

The pin marks the site itself, not necessarily the entrance (47.47248, -115.92525). Apple Maps directions go to the street address instead. Show on our map · Google Maps · Apple Maps
