About
South Pass City is a state historic site with a restored townsite of cabins, a hotel, a jail and other buildings from the gold rush. The buildings and gift shop open from Memorial Day to mid-October, while the site and trails stay open from dawn to dusk all year. Guided Carissa Mill and English Tunnel tours can be reserved separately; their prices and times are not given.
